Overview
Anton will read scenes from his debut novel 'To and Fro' and participants will discuss why they think the scene is funny, or not. Anton will talk about the main type/s of humour (Slapstick, Observational, Gross or Wit) used in each scene. Participants will discuss which type/s of humour they prefer, and why.
Participants give examples of things people said or did that made them laugh. They will then write a short paragraph about something serious using humour to make it funny and engaging.
This workshop is aimed at children aged 8 years and above.
Bookings required. Adults must remain with their child for the session.
