What to Expect on a Swordcraft Townsville Game Day

Step into a living fantasy world with Swordcraft Townsville! Our game days are your chance to don your gear, wield your foam weapons, and immerse yourself in thrilling adventure, intense combat, and rich roleplay.

Whether you're a grizzled veteran or brand new to the field, game day is where the story comes alive.

• Sign-in: 4pm to 5pm
• Games Run: 5pm to 8pm (with breaks)
• Cost: $15/game ($10 for concession card holders and students under 18) – first game is free!
• Gear Hire: $10
• Payment: We have moved to a cashless system for Game Fee & Gear Hire – you will need to pay by card.
• Under 18? A parent/guardian must complete & bring a physical copy of the Legal consent form.

What Happens

• Our sessions begin with a brief safety and rules reminder – great for newcomers or those needing a refresher.
• Players will then take the field for a series of structured scenarios, ranging from team battles to story-driven missions.
• There's plenty of room for roleplay, trading, scheming, and storytelling in between the action.
• Our volunteers and marshals are on hand to help you get involved and stay safe.

New to Swordcraft?

No worries! Our community is friendly and supportive. We have loaner weapons and experienced players ready to show you the ropes.

What to Bring?

• Enclosed shoes (required!)
• Water bottle
• Your costume and LARP-safe weapons (if you have them)
• A good attitude and sense of adventure!
