Celebrate 80 years of Children's Book Week with us at Songtime in the Park!

Dress up as your favourite character! This year's theme is Book An Adventure...

Sharing stories, singing, talking and playing with your child from birth builds a foundation for your child’s future development that can last a lifetime. Meet other families with children and enjoy a morning in the park talking, reading, singing, and playing.


Songtime

Join our 30 minute Songtime from 9:30 to 10am, full of songs, rhymes and stories which will ignite your child's imagination accelerate their language development.

Playtime

Stay and play in the park from 8:30 to 11am and make friends while exploring the playground and playing with the library toys.

Free First 5 Forever Toolkits

Collect a First 5 Forever toolkit for your family, including a free book, puppet and tip sheets to kick start your child’s early literacy development.

Membership and Borrowing

Sign up for a free library membership and borrow from a selection of children's picture books and board books.

What to Bring

Bring your own:

  • picnic blanket
  • hat
  • sunscreen
  • water bottle
  • snack.
