Sea of Light - NAFA 2026

Dive into Sea of Light and set off on a magical journey of colour, creativity and imagination. Using a UV torch as their paintbrush, children and families can create glowing trails across the sea floor, steer shimmering ships and bring their own underwater adventure to life.

As you explore, luminous artworks by contemporary Aboriginal visual artist Elizabeth Close appear beneath your feet, reflecting connections between land, sea, earth and waterways, and celebrating the richness and diversity of the Australian landscape. Paired with a gentle soundscape by composer Rob Edwards, Sea of Light is a calming, interactive experience designed to spark wonder for the whole family.
