Overview
Townsville Judo Club will host its inaugural regional judo competition on Saturday 30 August 2025, welcoming junior and senior athletes from across North Queensland and beyond.
As an Olympic sport, judo plays a key role in Queensland’s sporting pathway, particularly with Brisbane set to host the 2032 Games.
Grassroots competitions like this are vital stepping stones toward state, national and international representation, giving athletes valuable experience as they progress.
