CHARITY PROJECT: Safe Nights Townsville. The Women’s Centre and Soroptimist International of Breakwater want to ensure that vulnerable women and their families have access to a safe place to sleep. Often families escaping domestic violence do not have immediate access to safe accommodation. This project provides crisis accommodation. To date the project has raised $93,000 and assisted 278 local families.
