Overview

Who am I? Where do I come from?

These are two big questions that Sam in ‘To and Fro,’ tries to answer on his journey of developing his personal identity. 'To and Fro' is Anton's debut Junior Fiction novel. Like Sam, Anton has an African dad and an Australian mum. Growing up, as an adopted kid, Anton struggled to know who he was and develop his own identity.

Using funny stories and photos from my childhood, Anton will share his identity journey with participants. Drawing on the themes in To and Fro, participants will explore who they are and where they come from and learn how to tell their identity journey in a voice and style that is their own.

This workshop is aimed at children aged 8 years and over.

Bookings required. Adults must remain with their child for the session.
