Garage Sale Trail 2025

Townsville City Council is proudly participating in the Garage Sale Trail 2025 – Australia’s largest celebration of secondhand, reuse, and community connection.

Held over two massive weekends, 8 to 9 November and 15 to 16 November, the Garage Sale Trail invites more than 300,000 Australians to buy, sell, and reuse through local garage sales and thrift markets. It’s a fun, free, and impactful way to declutter, earn extra cash, and keep quality items out of landfill – all while strengthening neighbourhood ties.

Whether you host a sale, join a local market, or simply follow the trail, everyone can get involved. Participation is free and open to individuals, schools, community groups, and businesses – no garage required!
