Full Moon Drum Circle - Festival Moon

August’s full moon the Festival Moon, celebrating the time of year when North Queensland comes alive with festivals, markets and community events, made possible by our beautiful dry season weather.

Join us under the Festival Moon as we celebrate what brings communities together—music, rhythm, laughter and connection. Whether you’re picking up a drum for the first time or you’ve been joining us for years, everyone is welcome.

The festivals may end, but the rhythm continues. Come and be part of Australia’s longest-running community drum circle beneath the Festival Moon.

This is a free community event. All ages are welcome. Instruments are available to share. Arrive from 5:30pm, drumming begins at 6:00pm.
