JUNE

Family History: 1960s Hamersley Railway Project - Western Australia

Join us for a special family history with a collection of photographs and information about the Hamersley Railway line construction.  In April 1965, the Hamersley line was a joint venture appointed to Morrison-Knudsen, Mannix Contractors of Canada and McDonald Constructions of Australia. Many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men left families in Queensland to work on this railway project in Western Australia. Come along to see photos of workers and camp sites. Morning tea will be provided.

Bookings Required.
