Overview

Whether you're heading off-grid or setting up at your favourite holiday park, this practical workshop gives you the skills to handle medical emergencies in remote or outdoor settings. Tailored for travellers, campers, and caravanners, it covers the most common—and most critical—situations you might face on the road.

Learn how to respond to:

  • Burns, shock
  • Drowning and choking
  • Fractures, sprains, strains and dislocations
  • Wounds, bleeding and poisoning
  • Head, neck, spinal, chest and abdominal injuries
  • Heat and cold related illness
  • Lightning-related injuries
  • Asthma
  • Allergies and anaphylaxis
  • Bites, stings
  • Chest pain and stroke

This hands-on session is ideal for families, grey nomads, weekend adventurers and anyone who wants to feel confident and capable when on the road. No medical experience required but bookings are essential.

Aimed at participants aged 16 years and over.
