Father's Day Memorial

Remember those close to us that we have lost at Townsville City Council's Father’s Day Memorial.

Join us at Belgian Gardens Cemetery on Saturday 6 September from 8:30 - 10am for a special ceremony ahead of Father’s Day.

The memorial will include words of reflection with Amanda Medill and gentle music by Alex Salvador.

Community members are invited to share a poem at the event in memory of their loved one, to be read themselves or to be shared on their behalf by Council event staff.

Participate in mindfulness craft activities in memory of your loved one and receive a native plant and reflection candle to take home*

BBQ breakfast and coffee will be provided.
