Ephemera: Trace-less

Prepare to be captivated by Ephemera, North Queensland's premier public art festival.

From 19 July to 3 August 2025, Townsville’s iconic foreshore will come alive with spectacular artworks by local, national and international artists.

The 2025 theme “Trace-less” is centred on awareness of place, Country, and the environment. As the name suggests, artists have creatively explored ideas of the transitory, leaving less of a trace on our environment.

Volunteer at Ephemera

Help us bring Ephemera to life. Volunteers are needed across a range of areas including:

• Installation: 14 to 18 July 2025
• Information Booth: 19 July to 3 August 2025
• Deinstallation: 4 August 2025
