Sand Sculpting Workshops with Sandstorm Events Learn how to sculpt with sand! These workshops fill up quickly, so get in quick! Bookings essential.Book now ​ Sunbird Collage with Townsville CityLibraries Join Citylibraries at our interactive “Sunbird collage” station where children and parents can work together to create a vibrant free-standing artwork. Participants will have an opportunity to create an artwork that highlights the patterns of local leaves, trees, bark, flowers, local birds and their feathers. No bookings required – just drop in and create! Art Snack Café a la Cart with Allan Tulloch ​Alan Tulloch extends his innovative dry-media print performances and installations through his Art Snack Café - a la Cart(e). The artist dons toque blanche and checkered pants to become Art Chef, cooking up not-so-normal cuisine in the form of threatened-to-extinct Townsville animals. Menu items appear in a flash, printing enticing and malleable images on patrons’ hands using powdered charcoal. Make your own Traceless Pen Flora Sculptures with Rochelle Morris ​Watch as exhibiting artist, Rochelle Morris, creates an artwork with mulched flowers and leaves. Don’t be afraid to get a bit messy and join in! |
