Eco Fiesta is back in 2024.
This year’s Eco Fiesta will take place on Sunday 2 June at Anderson Gardens and will focus on pollinators – bees and birds, flowers, butterflies – and their importance within our community.
This FREE community event will showcase the latest and greatest in environmental tips, products, and ideas.
The event will include:
- Guest speakers including Hannah Moloney from Gardening Australia.
- Live cooking demonstrations with 2023 MasterChef Australia Finalist Rhiannon Anderson.
- Educational hub with free workshops.
- Live entertainment.
- Delicious line-up of food trucks.
- Fun activities for the kids including the Lissie the Butterfly Story Walk by Townsville Citylibraries.
- FREE sprinkler swap. Bring in your old sprinkler and exchange it for a new one.
- Plant giveaway from the Townsville City Council Dry Tropics Nursery team.
- Great range of market and exhibit stalls environmentally friendly encourage Townsville residents to live ecofriendly and smarter lifestyle.

THE BUZZ - ECO FIESTA FILM FESTIVAL
The Buzz - Eco Fiesta Film Festival will take place on Saturday 1 June from 5:30pm at Anderson Gardens.
The night will feature entries into The Buzz Video Competition and will see prizes awarded at the end for first, second, and third place.
The videos will focus on pollinators (butterflies, bees, bats, possums, insects, etc), and the impact they have on our environment and ecosystem.
Grab the family, come along, and enjoy a night under the stars!
