Overview
STEM Changemakers has a program for girls that speak English as a second language or have a culturally diverse background (CALD).
CALD Girls (aged 11 to 18) from the Townsville area are invited to be involved. It is a fun and supportive program where you will learn STEM skills, solve real-world problems, build your confidence and make new friends.
STEM Changemakers is an initiative that specifically targets engaging underrepresented girls with the possibilities of STEM. Led by Sarah Chapman – a passionate teacher with 20 years experience, Queensland STEM champion and National STEM Ambassador.
Parents/Carers must remain in the branch for the program and may be asked to accompany their young person for some sessions.
