This is your chance to be part of a unique, hands-on environmental initiative that helps protect these vital coastal ecosystems. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a curious local, or just looking for an outdoor adventure, we’d love to have you on board!

We’ll be surveying two saltmarsh sites in Bushland Beach as part of our ongoing MangroveWatch Super SAVERS monitoring program. It's an awesome way to learn new skills, connect with like-minded people, and contribute to local conservation efforts.

We kindly ask that you watch the instructional video before attending.

You will also need to use the EpiCollect5 app for Saltmarsh Surveys.

During the training event you will be encouraged to use the iNaturalist app to assist with mangrove plant and animal identification. If you don't already have iNaturalist, please install the app and register a username.

We will have a break between the two surveys, during which I will provide light catering for afternoon tea, including fruit, muesli bars, and lollies. Feel free to bring along your own snacks/light lunch if you’d like!
