With music by Elton John, Billy Elliot the Musical is a heartwarming and powerful adaptation of the 2000 film. Set in a small mining town in Northern England during the 1984-85 miners' strike, the story follows Billy, a young boy who discovers a passion for ballet, despite societal and familial expectations. As Billy pursues his dreams against all odds, the musical explores themes of identity, ambition, and resilience. Filled with energetic dance sequences, and memorable music, Billy Elliot celebrates the transformative power of art and self-expression.​
