Overview
The world’s best supercross riders are headed to North Queensland for elite racing, huge jumps and nonstop stadium atmosphere as the battle for glory officially begins.
Queensland Country Bank Stadium is set to host the season opener of the 2026 AUSX Supercross Championship on Saturday 3 October!
The 2026 season launches in Townsville as Australia’s best and international stars go bar-to-bar under lights. Expect bold passes, big pressure and full-throttle racing from the first gate drop.
Freestyle Kings LIVE will also bring the world’s largest FMX tour to Townsville, delivering a freestyle motocross spectacular featuring world-class athletes, massive tricks, backflips and jaw-dropping entertainment.
From opening ceremonies and rider introductions to lights, pyro and full stadium action, AUSX Townsville delivers one of the biggest live sports and entertainment experiences North Queensland has ever seen.
AUSX Fan Fest
12pm - 5pm
Get to the stadium early and enjoy rider signings, team appearances, merchandise, partner activations and interactive fan experiences.
AUSX Street Party
The action starts early with the AUSX Street Party taking over Palmer Street on Friday 2 October. This free community event runs from 3pm to 6pm, bringing the excitement to the heart of the city before the main event.
Head down to Palmer Street to catch a live drag race, test your skills in the Holeshot Challenge, and meet Australian motocross and supercross legend Chad Reed.
No tickets required. Simply come along and enjoy the atmosphere before the main event on Saturday.
