Meet Kathy. She is our new Pilates Instructor. Kathy has been teaching Pilates for over 15 years, bringing a calm, thoughtful approach to every class she runs.She began her training in 2007 through hands-on study with experienced teachers, building a strong foundation in how the body moves, breathes, and responds to gentle, consistent work.

With a background in both Pilates and yoga, Kathy’s style blends strength, control, and flow. Her classes are challenging but supportive, and easy to follow, with a focus on helping you feel more connected to your body.

Kathy has taught in studios, gyms, and private settings across Canberra, Papua New Guinea, and the Gold Coast, including running her own home-based Pilates studio for eight years. Her passion is working with women who want to feel stronger, more flexible, and more at ease in their bodies.

Her classes focus on:

  • Building core strength in a safe, supported way
  • Improving posture and movement
  • Learning how to connect better with your body

You won’t be pushed into movements, rather you will be guided, step by step, in a way that feels manageable and encouraging.
