Overview
Townsville will host the 2026 Masters Swimming Queensland State Championships from 16th – 19th July 2026.
The pool competition, conducted in long course format, will take place at the Long Tan Memorial Pool on Thursday 16th, Friday 17th and Saturday 18th July, followed by a 'Ship to Shore' open water swim on Sunday 19th July finishing on Townsville's iconic Strand.
The event is expected to attract over 300 swimmers from across Queensland, as well as visiting interstate and international competitors, bringing a vibrant atmosphere to Townsville’s sporting and tourism precincts.
