2025 Townsville Folk Festival

The 2025 Townsville Folk Festival (TFF) will take place from June 6-8 at Foots Hill Station, Reid River. This volunteer-led, family-friendly, not-for-profit event is a vibrant celebration of music, arts, and community, drawing audiences from across North Queensland and beyond.

The festival features a diverse lineup of local and interstate artists, with live performances spanning folk, blues, and world music. In 2025, a key highlight will be the TFF Youth Mentoring Program, which nurtures and showcases emerging young performers. Beyond the music, attendees can enjoy dance, circus acts, engaging workshops, a dedicated Kids Fest, and artisan markets offering handcrafted treasures. A variety of food vendors will provide delicious options, while camping facilities allow guests to fully experience the festival’s unique atmosphere under the stars.

The 2025 Townsville Folk Festival is kicking off with a Festival Launch Party at the Herbert Hotel on Saturday 10 May, starting at 5pm and running late into the night.

With five incredible live acts—Drumbumba, Silky Oak, The Swindlers, The Layman Preachers, and 33 1/3—it's set to be an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and good vibes.

Tickets are just $20 at the door.
