Rosie Deacon Cockatoo Cavern Fever

Rosie Deacon’s work merges painting and sculpture practices with installation, needlecraft, Australiana, as well as performance and play, in her evocative, high-key worlds. Fantastic fluorescent creatures roam and frolic in caverns, and forests aglow with light and colour.

Deacon’s exhibition will grow throughout its time in the gallery, with workshop participants contributing directly to the exhibition, a chance to learn from and collaborate with one of Australia’s most evocative and idiosyncratic artists.
