Queen's Baton Relay


The Queen’s Baton Relay (QBR) is a Games tradition that celebrates the Commonwealth’s diversity, inspires community pride and excites people about the world-class festival of sports and culture to come.

The Relay arrives in Townsville on Sunday 18 March and will move from West End to Jezzine Barracks from 2pm to 5.30pm.

On Monday the Relay will begin at 7.40 am from Reid Park finishing in Cranbrook at 9.45 am.

Queen's Baton Relay Community Event

Join us at the Jezzine Barracks Parade Ground from 4pm - 6pm to celebrate the Queen's Baton Relay in Townsville! There will be live entertainment by Games Boy, free amusements and plenty of activities and giveaways.
