Produced in collaboration with the team that bring the Wonderland Spiegeltent to Townsville, Wonderland Under the Stars is a new pop-up open air performance space featuring circus, music, physical theatre, and fun!
Running alongside the modified North Australian Festival of Arts (NAFA), Wonderland Under the Stars will run throughout the school holidays, from the 18 September - 6 October in Strand Park. There will be a number of sessions available to accommodate as many community members as possible under the COVID-19 site capacity (maximum 324 people per session). In addition to the performance elements there will be a selection of COVID-19 compliant rides for children and adults to enjoy all with a vintage feel, as well as a small selection of food vendors on site.

- Free family movie night – Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
- Free family movie night – Dora and the Lost City of Gold
Registration is required for all events / shows as capacities are limited and contact tracing is required under our COVID Safe plan. Please be aware you will be required to provide contact details and answer screening questions at all sites even if admission is free.
