Art in the Park - Riverside

Description

Running alongside the COVID Safe version of the North Australian Festival of Arts, Art in the Park will see the Riverside Gardens (Douglas) Community Centre come to life, offering several engaging interactive workshops, along with outside activities such as roving performers, live music and quality food vendors for a wonderful family day out.

Saturday 10 October, Saturday 17 October, and Saturday 24 October will see the Community Centre and its surrounding park land activated between 9am – 5pm, with four (4) 1 hour and 45-minute time slots available each day.

Bookings are essential so do not miss out!

Please note that for each allocated time slot, there is a 20-person limit for each workshop*, and an 80-person limit for outside activities. There is also a reservation limit of 4 people per booking.

*Your workshop ticket also gives you access to the outside area.

Registration is required for all events / shows as capacities are limited and contact tracing is required under our COVID Safe plan. Please be aware you will be required to provide contact details and answer screening questions at all sites even if admission is free. Council appreciates your cooperation in abiding by all COVID-19 restrictions and requirements on our NAFA sites and within the community.
